Amy-Jane Blackmore BVSc BSc MRCVS

After completing a Zoology degree at U.C.L. Amy-Jane studied Veterinary Science at Liverpool University graduating in 2003.

Since then, Amy has gained much experience in a range of small animal practices ranging from an externship at Cornell University USA, to stints in practice in Worcestershire and around Essex.

Suzy Bohm, BVetMed MRCVS

Suzy Studied at the Royal Veterinary College London and has had a lifelong interest in horses. She was the Captain of the BUSA Riding Team at University and is a keen dressage rider.

Becky Corney, BVMS MRCVS

Becky graduated from Glasgow Veterinary School in 2002 and has worked in small animal practice since. She enjoys travelling and spent some time working as a vet in Australia. She grew up in Kent and is happy now to be living here again and has been working at Newnham Court Veterinary Hospital since 2007.

Nigel Davies

Nigel Davies, BVSc MMedVet(Med) CertVD MRCVS

Nigel was born, raised and trained in South Africa. He qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1980, and has worked in small animal practice ever since. In 1993 he obtained his Masters Degree in Small Animal Medicine, becoming a South African Council registered Specialist in Small Animal Medicine.

Mark Fosbery, BSc BVMS MRCVS

Graduated from Glasgow University in 1989. During the veterinary course he undertook a second degree, gaining a 1st class Honours degree in Physiology.

Charlotte graduated with honours from Nottingham University in 2011, being a member of the inaugural year to qualify from the first new vet school in UK for 50 years. Before joining Newnham Court she spent the summer doing voluntary work in India gaining veterinary experience in the most challenging of conditions.

Davide qualified in Italy in 1998 and in 2002 obtained a PhD in Animal Nutrition. In 2006 he moved in England. He has been always interested in Small Animal Medicine and in particularly Emergency And Critical Care, he started his career covering night while working/studying towards his PhD.

Gail qualified from Edinburgh Vet School in 2003 and has been working as a small animal vet ever since. In 2003, after getting married, she moved down to Kent with her husband and worked in Herne Bay and Ashford before moving to Newnham Court in 2007.

Martin Smith

Martin Smith, BVM&S MRCVS

Martin Smith qualified from the University of Edinburgh in 1983. He then spent 10 years in small animal and equine practice in Bath, Hastings and Canterbury. Since joining Newnham Court Veterinary Group in 1993, he has been based on the small animal side, becoming a partner in 1996.
