Newnham Court is a 24 hour hospital with it’s own emergency service run in house. We are proud to offer a pharmacy, two operating theaters, X-Ray, Ultrasound and dental suites, separate cat and dog wards and a fully equipped laboratory with highly experienced laboratory nurses. We are able to manage almost all of our cases in house, with little need to refer to other practices.

Current Vacancies 


Pets Ltd (Newnham Court Veterinary Hospital) is seeking an enthusiastic first opinion vet to join our highly professional veterinary team. If you are looking for an exiting new opportunity within a state of the art tier 3 accredited hospital, then this could be the role for you.

The ideal candidate will be confident with consultations and general surgery, and must offer excellent customer care. You should be a professional team player, who is willing to demonstrate the gold standard policy that we already provide.

The Newnham Court first opinion team is made up of six veterinary surgeons. The team is committed to providing the highest standards of clinical care at all times. Our veterinary team is supported by highly skilled RVN’s, a dedicated out of hours team, and the continuous care department who deal with internal and external referrals of complex medical cases.

Having been established over 100 years ago, Newnham Court Veterinary Hospital is proud to provide outstanding clinical care within Kent, supporting the community, and looking after all of their pet care needs.

No out of hours work is required for this role

The successful applicant will be a MRCVS, fluent in written and spoken English, holding a level 7 IELTS score, with suitable UK experience, and well-rounded general practice skills.

Salary is dependent on experience.  Benefits in kind (value £2,250) include paid for RCVS, BVA, BSAVA, VDS and  AVIVA private health care, with subsidised membership of local Living-Well Gym. CPD allowance five days and £1,500 per annum.
