Davide Sciannimanico
Davide has been a Veterinary Surgeon since 1998, qualifying in Milan, Italy.
In 2001 he finished his PhD which included the study of the effect of certain nutraceuticals on the immune system, there was three years of research which lead to several international publications.
In 2002 Davide started his career in small animal practices in Italy but after 3 years decided to move to UK where he gained further experience, working in several small animal practices and veterinary hospitals in the private and charity sector.
Although being a general practitioner, Davide is very interested in emergency medicine which despite being very challenging, because of dealing with very ill patients, gives him the best reward because with a vet’s intervention they can save the lives of our beloved friends.
He is also interested in orthopaedic surgery.
Since 2011 Davide has been working for PETS at Newnham Court Veterinary Hospital, a high standard small animal hospital, where he has gained more experience in emergency and critical care medicine. He feels Newnham is a great place to work with a superb team and amazing clients.
He hopes this will continue for many years to come.

Nicola Beaney
Continuous Care Veterinary Surgeon
Nicola graduated from Bristol University with honors in 2009. Since then she has been working in small animal practice in London and Hertfordshire. She has a special interest in critical care and internal medicine and is a RCVS Accredited Advanced Practitioner In Small Animal Medicine.
Nicola shares her home with an ever expanding menagerie of animals including her furry dog son Jackson, 2 naughty Savannah cats, and an aviary of lovebirds and chickens. In her spare time she enjoys pilates, walking, and dog agility.
John Bence-Burak
MRCVS - Emergency Veterinary Surgeon
John qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1997 from the Royal Veterinary Collage and has been working in small animal practice since. He joined us as a locum at our out of hours service PETS and went on to join us full time in 2008.

Stefan Popescu
Stefan qualified in Romania in 2007 and after five years working in a small animal practice, he moved in England.
Since October 2012 he has been working as an emergency vet in a small animal practice in Kent.
During his free time Stefan enjoys visiting different places in Romania, walking and playing table tennis.

Sidney Roels
Emergency Veterinary Surgeon
Sidney graduated from Ghent university in Belgium and moved to the UK a few years after. He has been working in an emergency setting for nearly a decade. Sidney's focus is on internal medicine, emergency and critical care and diagnostic imaging.
