Davide has been a Veterinary Surgeon since 1998, qualifying in Milan, Italy.

In 2001 he finished his PhD which included the study of the effect of certain nutraceuticals on the immune system, there was three years of research which lead to several international publications.

In 2002 Davide started his career in small animal practices in Italy but after 3 years decided to move to UK where he gained further experience, working in several small animal practices and veterinary hospitals in the private and charity sector.

Although being a general practitioner, Davide is very interested in emergency medicine which despite being very challenging, because of dealing with very ill patients, gives him the best reward because with a vet’s intervention they can save the lives of our beloved friends.

He is also interested in orthopaedic surgery.

Since 2011 Davide has been working for PETS at Newnham Court Veterinary Hospital, a high standard small animal hospital, where he has gained more experience in emergency and critical care medicine. He feels Newnham is a great place to work with a superb team and amazing clients.

He hopes this will continue for many years to come.
