It’s What We Do
The Continuous Care Centre is an expansion of our out-of-hours Emergency Service (PETS) providing Emergency, Critical Care, Intensive Care and Ongoing Care Services 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year.
Our aim is to provide affordable, good quality care by experienced clinicians for patients needing critical care, intensive care and ongoing care.
An experienced veterinary surgeon and veterinary nurse will be available day and night to deal with your pet. You can see a little background information about each of our staff members in the Staff section of this website.
Our vets are Nicola Beaney, Nigel Davies, Mark Fosbery and Jon Camilleri. They are supported by the out-of-hours team of Nicky Roach, Jim Parren, John Bence, Colin Armstrong and Davide Sciannimanico.
Our full-time Continuous Care Nurses are all experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses, spending the majority of their time working in Critical & Continuous Care. They have all had specific training in Emergency Nursing. They are Amy Sanders, Amy Bartlett, Victoria Hambrook and Michelle Wicks.
Your veterinary surgery has recommended us, and we thank you for entrusting us with your pet’s care.
We aim to keep you regularly updated and involved with the care of your pet. If you have any concerns and wish to speak to us, please do not hesitate to phone us on 07889 703879.
Our veterinary surgeons will also be in regular contact with your veterinary surgeon, keeping them updated on your pet’s status, progress, and plan of action. A report and full history, including radiographs, will be sent on completion of the case.
If we feel that your pet’s condition warrants referral to an external Specialist Centre, we will tell you and your veterinary surgeon as soon as possible.
We do have an ambulance which can collect your pet from your veterinary surgery. If your veterinary surgery is a subscriber to our out of hours emergency service (PETS) we will transfer patients from your local practice to our Hospital at no cost to you or your practice on week days between 10am – 4pm (Monday – Friday). Weekend transfers can be arranged, but they will be chargeable.
