Memorial Wall

Our memorial wall below was created in 2023 in memory of those pets who have sadly passed over the rainbow bridge.  Below, you can send us your memories, thoughts or feelings as well as a photo for us to add to our wall.

Please use the wall to reflect on your thoughts, emotions and and knowing that many other pet owners are experiencing the same feelings, thoughts and grief.  We hope this can being you some comfort during those hard times.

Our pets are very special to us, providing unconditional love with total acceptance, often becoming a companion and sharing our experiences. It is therefore understandable that when this bond is severed, the sense of loss is often difficult to come to terms with, both emotionally and physically.

If you are in need of some where to go for support and advice on pet bereavement please visit

The death of a pet is very upsetting and it is important to allow yourself time to grieve.

Talk things over with friends and family.

Everyone reacts differently to grief but rest assured that these sad feelings will fade in time.

RAINBOW BRIDGE.jpg

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together…”

Elmo

Little Elmo, you brought joy and laughter into my life and helped me through a time of grief. Sadly your life ended far too soon and I am now grieving for you. I miss your funny antics and companionship.

Our home is so empty without you by my side. Thank you my best boy.

Looking forward to meeting you at the rainbow bridge.

Remember, Mummy loves you forever xx

Scoobs, our bestest boy, we lost you in August very suddenly after a short illness. You were brave even until the last moment when we held you in our arms. We miss you every single minute of every day and part of us is incomplete. We have a hole in our hearts but remembering the good times and how you made us laugh and live every day, is your legacy. Run free boy and thanks for being the best friend, companion, listener and brightest star there’s ever been. We love you so much x x x x x x x

I think you'll agree, he was a rather lovely looking dog.

We are drawing together all of our pictures over the years and making an album of him.  I confess it has been a comforting distraction, even if short-lived

Bill

Two weeks ago I sadly had to say one last goodbye to our family cat Bill , who had made it to 19 years old ! I can’t thank the team enough for the compassion and care they showed Bill and to myself since this sad day . From the wonderful vet Silvia to who supported me with this awful decision and who was so kind to our old boy , to the reception team who have all passed on their condolences when I’ve called since and then today to receive the beautiful card and Bills paw print in the post . This level of care and compassion is wonderful, thank you to the whole team for showing us that you all understand how we feel about our pets

Beautiful boy, you gave our family four years of joy. You had such an amazing personality. We will miss you so much but you will be forever in our hearts. The memories you have left us from bringing us flowers, going on two legs for a stroke, grooming our hair and early morning cuddles will be what we use to help with the void in our lives from your loss. Kitten to cat, miss you always.

Pablo

A little guy we had for a short time, but made a major impact on all of our lives. RIP Mr P xx and thank you so much for all the vets involved in his care and support given to us as a family. Special thanks to Sam & Antonio - sorry I know more of you were involved with Pablo's care but forgive us it was a bit of a blur and surreal. We are still trying to get our heads around what has happened. Cannot believe he was taken so quickly from us xx
